These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the TableTap platform, including the mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by TableTap Inc., registered in Bulgaria.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
A. GENERAL TERMS (APPLICABLE TO ALL USERS)
1. Definitions
- "Platform" – the TableTap application and related digital services.
- "Customer" – an individual user making restaurant reservations.
- "Restaurant" – a business entity using the Platform to receive reservation requests.
- "Reservation" – a booking request made by a Customer through the Platform.
- "Content" – all text, images, reviews, menus, logos, and data displayed on the Platform.
2. Role of TableTap
TableTap acts as a digital intermediary connecting Customers and Restaurants asynchronously. TableTap does not operate restaurants, does not provide food or hospitality services, and does not guarantee availability.
3. Account Requirement
Use of reservation functionality requires an active user account. Access to the Platform is provided via third-party authentication services.
4. Modifications
TableTap reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. In case of disputes, parties agree to attempt mediation first before initiating court proceedings.
B. TERMS FOR CUSTOMERS (END USERS)
6. Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years of age to use the reservation services.
7. Reservations & Fees
- Customers may make up to two (2) free reservations per calendar month.
- After exceeding the free limit, a reservation fee of €0.50 per reservation applies.
IMPORTANT – PAYMENT FLOW
The Platform does not process payments for food or services. All food and service payments are made directly at the restaurant. Any applicable reservation fees are added to the final bill at the restaurant.
8. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Customers may cancel reservations via the Platform.
- If a Customer fails to appear for a reservation three (3) times, their profile information may become visible to Restaurants through the Restaurant portal for operational purposes.
9. Reviews & User Content
- Customers may leave reviews based on genuine experiences.
- Reviews must not contain offensive, false, misleading, or unlawful content.
- TableTap reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews that violate these Terms.
10. Location & Preferences
- Saved favorites and preferences are provided for convenience only.
- Restaurant location data is based on information supplied by Restaurants.
11. Suspension or Termination
TableTap may suspend or restrict Customer accounts in cases of:
- Repeated no-shows
- Abuse of the Platform
- Manipulation of reservations
- Violation of these Terms
C. TERMS FOR RESTAURANT OWNERS (BUSINESSES)
12. Restaurant Accounts
Restaurants may create an account and provide:
- Business details
- Address
- Menus
- Photos
- Descriptions
Restaurants are responsible for ensuring that all provided information is accurate and up to date.
13. Pricing & Subscription
- The basic package is free of charge.
- Optional premium features (including analytics, customer insights, time-slot tools, and similar features) are available for a €50 monthly subscription.
- The subscription may be cancelled at any time.
14. Reservation Handling
- Restaurants receive reservation requests via the Platform.
- Each reservation must be confirmed or declined by the Restaurant.
- Customers are notified of the decision via the Platform and email.
15. Restaurant Responsibilities
Restaurants are solely responsible for:
- Availability management
- Opening hours
- Temporary or permanent closure
- Service delivery
- Accepting or declining customers' reservations within 15 minutes of their initiation.
If a Restaurant ceases operations, it must detach from the Platform.
16. Platform Removal
TableTap reserves the right to remove a Restaurant from the Platform only in cases of fake availability or intentional misuse of the reservation system.
17. Reviews & Moderation
- Restaurants may flag reviews they consider unfair or inaccurate.
- Requests must be submitted with reasonable justification via TableTap's support channels.
- Final moderation decisions remain solely with TableTap Inc.
18. Content License
Restaurants grant TableTap a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display their submitted content for Platform operation and promotion.
19. Analytics & Paid Features
Access to statistics, insights, and advanced tools is available only through paid subscription plans.
D. LIABILITY, DISCLAIMERS & LEGAL
20. Limitation of Liability
TableTap is not liable for:
- Restaurant service quality
- Overbooking
- Cancellations by Restaurants
- Customer no-shows
- Indirect or consequential damages
21. Force Majeure
TableTap shall not be held liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, internet outages, natural disasters, governmental actions, or public emergencies.
22. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Further details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
